This classic herringbone pattern, shown here in Avocado dates back to the Roman period through the Middle Ages. The eye is drawn to the wide part of the "V" in the herringbone, and the pattern conjures an optical illusion that feels like a larger area.

Sometimes referred to as fish scales, scallops, or peacock tiles. Each tile is cut out by hand with a custom-made cookie cutter. There are 42 tiles a foot in the small peacock tiles and 18 tiles a foot in the large peacock tiles. Prices are in SF increments. We recommend ordering samples before placing a larger order.
Tiles do not come meshed, they will arrive as individual pieces.
