This piece is made of polymer clay with a wire armature. Glitter has been baked onto the clay.
Inspiration: Last summer while on a road trip with my neice and nephews I let them scribble in my sketch book. Then later while doodling around I suddenly saw a rocket in one of the scribbles so I sketched the details. I really couldn't wait to make it into a sculpture but I didn't get to it until a few months later. Trying to turn a scribble into a sculpture was one of the most fun creative challenges I have ever had!
