This classic herringbone pattern, shown here in Avocado dates back to the Roman period through the Middle Ages. The eye is drawn to the wide part of the "V" in the herringbone, and the pattern conjures an optical illusion that feels like a larger area.

Clay Squared offers a design service for our clients looking to have a custom sketch drawing of their tile design in their specific space.
You will receive a preliminary drawing as well as two adjustments for the design. The design can be either black and white or full color.
As with all tiling, installation can change things on site; our drawings are not architectural renderings but artistic renderings of how the tile will look, lay, and where to place the cut pieces.
