Mudcap Is 2" Tall x 1" Wide.
Mudcaps are a type of trim that was used in homes built from 1880s - 1960s for traditional mud installations. Mudcaps are used for two purposes. One as a finishing glazed edge to the top of a wainscoting. Two use to go around corners. Usually used in Shower applications. Bullnose tiles are used in most modern projects today since builders typically use cement board projects. Mudcaps have a J hook radius that extends in about 3/8" and fits snug to the wall above a wainscoting to create a finished edge.
